Here are a few photos of 1) First year ASU Psychology students delivered goodie bags to PSD School Psychologists, Jessica Biggs and Clara Chipman, for School Psychologist Week. We sure do appreciate their hard work and dedication to our students. 2) ESL paraprofessional, Yvonne Perez, helping a student learn English. What a gift. 3) Athletic Director and Assistant Principal, Mike Chipman, helping a new student learn how to open his locker. It's the little things that mean so much. 4) SRO, Cpl Hall posing with a student after speaking to his class about what it takes to be a police officer. Check out that look of admiration on his face.

Congratulations to the many students who had qualifying scores on AP tests last year. They were celebrated this quarter and Mrs. Minor even made good on a promise to "tattoo" the initials of students on her arm who made a qualifying score. We have the BEST students and staff! 2022-23 Sophomores earned more than $2,200 in scholarships; 2022-23 Juniors earned more than $4,800 in scholarships; and 2022-23 Seniors snagged more than $6,100 in scholarships! Like we said, we have the BEST students and staff!

Recently Junior Auxiliary of Paragould blessed us with more than 70 Thanksgiving meal bags and we were able to deliver them to some of our Ram families. This will feed over 200 children this week. Thank you, JA, for all you do for students and children of Greene County.

We have artistic and creative Rams in the PSD. Here are a few examples: OGE 2nd grader, Blake Harris, was the overall winner of the Homecoming 2023 Art Contest. He has decided to donate his entry to the PSD Administration where it will be displayed for all to see. Congratulations and thank you, Blake! PJHS students, Mikayla Morten and Cambria Wilson were the winners of the Red Ribbon Week art contest sponsored by the Greene County Mental Health and Substance Abuse Coalition. Congratulations Mikayla and Cambria! 8th grader, Rue Muniz, painted the new Ram logo on the entryway of the Ram Academy. This was done as part of an EAST project. Way to go, Rue!

We give thanks to the Paragould Chamber of Commerce and the Leadership Paragould Alumni. Earlier this year, the Chamber donated goodie bags to our new teachers and this past week they delivered food for our backpack program as well as a $1,000 donation from the Leadership Paragould Alumni's food drive. They are such supporters of the children of Greene County and we are blessed by their generosity.
