The Paragould Pride closed its 2025 Competitive Season with the ASBOA State Marching Contest @ War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock last Tuesday. The band had a great run and managed to secure the Class 5A 3rd place BRONZE MEDAL with a 1st Division Rating, 2nd place in Music and 1st place in Visual Effect out of 23 BANDS!! Congratulations to the staff and students on your tremendous success this season. Your Ram family is proud of you!

Don't forget to join us TONIGHT at the Doc for the 1st ever Ironman Volleyball tournament! The winner of the student games will play the STAFF in the championship game! Starts at 7:00pm - $5 cash to enter and concessions will be available.

Tomorrow, November 11th from 10am - 1:30pm is our GT Entrepreneur Day in the PHS band complex. This event is open to the public to attend and our students would love to see you there! Parking is in the 1st Choice Healthcare parking lot due to construction. Details on the flyer!

You've heard of Powder Puff Football - now it's time for IRONMAN VOLLEYBALL! Join us Monday night for a fun filled night as our 11th-12th grade boys coached by our 11th-12th grade girls take on the 9th-10th graders. Concessions available for purchase and it's only $5 to get in! See you there!

We love a good competition during Bell Week here in the PSD. Know what else we love? Chick-fil-A! Know what else we really love? When the two come together to benefit our students. Here's how you can help - Wednesday (11/5) and Thursday (11/6) place a MOBILE order between 5pm - 8pm for dine in, carry out, or drive thru and select to support Paragould when prompted. Chick-fil-A will be donating the proceeds to the school with the most orders. Winner will be announced Friday night at the Bell Game - Go Rams, Wreck Tech!

Tomorrow we welcome 24 bands to Ram Stadium. The 1st band performs at 10am and our very own Paragould Pride performs an exhibition at 5:45pm. Entry fee is $10 - cash and card accepted. Parking will be at 10 Fitness and Paragould Plaza with shuttle service provided. Come support these talented students! ❤️🎶💙

Congratulations are in order for several of our PJHS and PHS students who competed in the NEA Coop Regional Chess Tournament. PSD placed in the top 10 and individually, Jacob Shepherd, Elijah Watson, and Alex Cook won 4 of their 5 games. Congratulations!

ROCK YOUR SOCKS is happening THIS Friday in the PSD. We ask students and staff to wear crazy and/or mismatched socks as we honor our friends with Down Syndrome. Thanks to our Unified student group at Woodrow Wilson Elementary for making this happen.

The Purple Circle Club, established in 1952 and sponsored by the Arkansas Farm Bureau, honors outstanding youth exhibitors who earn championship titles at the Arkansas State Fair. Each inductee represents dedication, responsibility, and countless hours of hard work caring for and showing their animals.

We’re so proud of Dixie for her achievement and for continuing her family’s strong tradition in Arkansas youth livestock excellence! 🌟🐰💜

First up...🎃 Trick-or-Treat Map Project! 🍬

Our students are working on a fun community project — creating a map of houses handing out candy on October 31st! 👻 If you’ll be passing out treats this Halloween, please share your address so we can mark it as a “candy stop” on the map. 🗺️

➡️ No personal information (like names or contact info) is needed — just your address! The map will help local trick-or-treaters plan their route and make sure everyone gets to enjoy a safe and sweet Halloween night! 🎃✨
