As a result of monitoring possible inclement weather, Woodrow use Wilson Elementary students will begin dismissal of our car line students at 1:00 pm today (January 30th.) Buses will begin running 90 minutes early at 1:40 pm. Please make plans to get your students according to this timeline.

The Paragould School District continues to monitor the weather. All car lines will start at 1:00 this afternoon (Monday, January 30). Due to the updated weather forecast for this afternoon, PSD will run our buses 90 minutes early. We have buses that are in excess of an hour and a half in length and student safety is the priority.

After school tutoring is cancelled this afternoon (1/30/23) at Woodrow Wilson. Students will follow their regular transportation plan. Girls basketball games have also been cancelled.
Please note that if we have inclement weather and school is not in session for any length of time, students are to complete the AMI packet for that day beginning with Day 1. AMI work is due on the day we return to school.
Because we could experience some winter precipitation next week, this is a good time for us to remind you that if we are out for inclement weather, your student(s) will complete AMI Day 1, and in order moving forward if additional days are missed. AMI work for all days completed are due the day we return to school, so please put it in their backpack immediately when they finish. This is a good time to make sure you have all of the materials that were sent home earlier this year. Please contact your child's teacher if you have any questions or concerns.

The police department was called to a bus accident early this morning. Both the bus and the private vehicle were operable after the incident. No injuries were reported. Students on the bus are fine and have been delivered to their school. Thank you for your patience.

Monday, December 19th from 5:30-7:00 pm is our Supper with Santa fundraiser. This event is a chili supper with Santa himself! We will also have a baked goods silent auction with some amazing treats and goodies.
This event is open to anyone and everyone. You don't have to attend Woodrow Wilson to come, so tell a friend! You can send the order form back with your child tomorrow, or come by the school to get tickets for just $5 per person. But no worries, tickets at the door are only $6. If you'd like to take pictures with Santa (using your phone/camera) you are welcome to do so for just $3!
