Woodrow Wilson Elementary "Class Picture" Day is this Friday, December 12th. That is also our "Grinch Day" for the 12 Days of Christmas. We would ask that you please send your child in picture appropriate clothing, and any "Grinch" items that you wear should be removable for the picture (like a hat, mask, gloves, etc.)

If you would like to order a copy of your child's class picture, order forms are coming home today in backpacks. Please send those with money for pictures back on or before Friday. Thank you for your help in making sure our class pictures are a truly memorable experience.

We’re excited to celebrate the season with our Grade Level Christmas Parties on December 19! It’s always a joyful time for our students, and we can’t wait to make fun memories together.

👥 Please remember: Each child may have up to TWO adult guests attend the party. This helps us keep the event safe, comfortable, and enjoyable for everyone.

Woodrow Wilson students will have Class Picture Day and Individual Makeup Pictures on December 12! If your child missed the first picture day or needs a retake, this is their chance to get those photos taken.

🎄 Important Reminder: December 12 is also Grinch Dress Up Day! Please make sure your child comes dressed appropriately for photos they’ll be taking — class pictures, individual makeups, or both.

The Paragould School District will operate normal afternoon bus routes on Thursday, December 4. Families who choose to pick up their child prior to regular dismissal may do so through the front office. Due to today’s weather conditions, students checked out early will not be counted absent for the afternoon.

Due to inclement weather and road conditions, the Paragould School District will operate on a two hour delay. All bus routes, car rider lines, and school start times will begin two hours later than usual on Tuesday, December 2. Student safety will always be a top priority. Langchel Wonne and Kyrie Payne participated in the Special Olympics state qualifier for bowling yesterday, and both boys scored a 38 to advance to STATE! We are incredibly proud of them and of our entire Traditional Bowling Team's sportsmanship!

We love a good competition during Bell Week here in the PSD. Know what else we love? Chick-fil-A! Know what else we really love? When the two come together to benefit our students. Here's how you can help - Wednesday (11/5) and Thursday (11/6) place a MOBILE order between 5pm - 8pm for dine in, carry out, or drive thru and select to support Paragould when prompted. Chick-fil-A will be donating the proceeds to the school with the most orders. Winner will be announced Friday night at the Bell Game - Go Rams, Wreck Tech!

We are so proud of our wonderful teachers and the outstanding students that work so hard every day! Thanks also to our parents and guardians for the support you show your children as they continue a lifetime of learning!

First up...🎃 Trick-or-Treat Map Project! 🍬

Our students are working on a fun community project — creating a map of houses handing out candy on October 31st! 👻 If you’ll be passing out treats this Halloween, please share your address so we can mark it as a “candy stop” on the map. 🗺️

➡️ No personal information (like names or contact info) is needed — just your address! The map will help local trick-or-treaters plan their route and make sure everyone gets to enjoy a safe and sweet Halloween night! 🎃✨
