Hi OGMS families! Our PTO is gearing up for a new school year! Our first PTO meeting, with officer election, will be held on September 10. PTO is an excellent way to be involved in the goings on at OGMS, and we would LOVE to see you here!

We are so excited to see everyone on Wednesday! Our drop off in the morning begins at 7:15 am. Our pick up in the afternoon begins at 3:15 pm.
Please pay attention to the maps attached to see which lanes are drop off and pick up.
For our safety and our students' safety, please pay attention and listen to the staff members who are directing traffic during drop off and pick ups. They are working to ensure that your child enters and leaves school safely.
Ram fans - join us Friday, August 23rd for our 2nd Annual Community Pep Rally. The gates open at 5:30pm and entry is free. We will have games; a dunk tank; food; showcase booths; snow cones; introductions of fall and spring sports, Beta Club, and PJHS Quiz Bowl; a performance by the Paragould Pride marching band; and we will end the night with FIREWORKS! Bring your friends and family to this night of fun. Open to the public - we invite all Ram fans to join us!

For students going into 6th grade who want to play FOOTBALL for the Rams, practice is tonight from 5:30 - 7:00pm at Rams Stadium located on the PHS campus. If you have not already signed up your child, please arrive early. There will be a parent meeting at 7:00pm. Students should wear athletic shorts, a t-shirt, and tennis shoes. Go Rams!

Happy, happy Friday! We wanted to remind families that students who are participating in our field day on Monday will need to make sure and bring a plastic/waterproof bag with a towel, change of clothes and shoes, sunscreen and deodorant with them.
Also, due to a scheduling conflict, 6th grade parents, our 6th grade students will not be touring the junior high on Monday. PJHS will host an open house in August; you'll be able to get information on schedules and clubs and tour the building at that time. Keep an eye out on the PJHS Facebook page for updates.
Finally, if you happen to move this summer, please make sure that you're contacting the campus that your child will attend to ensure that your mailing information is correct.
