Registration for the NO COST Academic/Athletic Camps for current PSD students currently in grades K-4 is open NOW through Monday, May 20th. Read on for more information!
Your child is invited to attend Paragould’s K-4 Summer Academic/Athletic Camps. Our summer program is offered at NO COST to PSD students! Transportation will be provided for students if needed. Opportunities include both academic and athletic activities. Students will be given the opportunity to interact with district literacy and math computer adaptive technology programs. We will also offer one-on-one and small group instruction when necessary. Athletic programs offered to students include baseball, basketball, football, soccer, softball, volleyball, cheer, dance, and speed/agility. K-4 Athletic Program Coordinators and district coaches will facilitate athletic activities. Don’t delay, registration ENDS on Monday, May 20th. Help us spread the word - the School Choice Deadline is May 1st. If you have friends or family who want to join the Ram Family but don't live in the district attendance zone, this is their chance! Make sure they get their paperwork turned in by May 1st. It can be dropped off at our administration building located at 1501 West Court Street. Tomorrow, April 23rd is National School Bus Driver appreciation day! Please join us in saying THANK YOU to those who make sure our students are delivered to and from school each day; take students on field trips all over the country; and transport teams to and fro. Well, our village showed up and showed out and helped us PASS the bond restructure! We are beyond thankful to everyone who voted FOR the Rams! The District is currently exploring calendar options for the 2024-2025 school start date. We are asking for your feedback. Would you support efforts in seeking a waiver to start the 2024-2025 school year as soon as August 12, 2024, in place of August 19, 2024? The Paragould Police Department is investigating a threatening note found on the Junior High School Campus. They have determined where the note originated and have arrested the student that wrote the note. The District encourages parents to speak with their children about the seriousness and potential consequences of making threats, even as a joke. All threats are taken seriously and investigated, and any students caught making threats may face possible criminal charges and expulsion from school. Student safety will always be paramount within the Paragould School District.
