Reminder: Parent-Teacher Conferences are tonight! They will be a little different this year, but it's more important than ever for parents and teachers to collaborate. *No in-person conferences will be held. *Teachers will contact parents with whom they need to speak between 4-7 pm. *Parents may contact teachers by email with concerns or to request a phone or Zoom conference. Virtual Parent-Teacher Conferences are Thursday, September 24th from 4-7 pm. Teachers will be reaching out to some parents. Parents may also reach out to teachers through email or to request a zoom meeting.

1st 9 week interims will be handed out on Wednesday, September 23 to all onsite students. We will email interims to our virtual students. Parents please look over your child's grades and if you have any questions reach out to their teacher. ONLY THE BEST AT OGMS!

OGMS PTO needs you! If you would like to serve with our PTO this year, please take a moment to fill out this form. You can nominate yourself or another (willing) parent of an OGMS student (virtual OR blended) for any officer position. If you just wish to serve in whatever capacity you can, you can select "Member at large". Our first meeting is TOMORROW at 4:30 and we will be voting to fill as many officer positions as possible. Virtual Students: Don't forget to shut down your Chromebooks at night and charge them! Remember, closing the lid does NOT count as shutting down; that just puts the Chromebook to sleep. Make sure you are clicking in the bottom right hand corner of your Chromebook screen, click Sign Out, and then click the Shut Down button. This lets your Chromebook update and it gives it a better rest than just putting it to sleep.

Prairie Farms will be giving away FREE products to families on Wednesday, September 16. The first event will be at First United Methodist Church from 9-11 am. The second event will be at the Greene County Fairgrounds from 4 pm until the products run out. There will be no questions and no forms to fill out. Each family will receive 2 gallons of milk, 2 small containers of chocolate milk, 2 small containers of strawberry milk, cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, and French dip.

The Greene County Health Department is hosting a drive-through flu shot clinic September 21-25 from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm daily. As in years past, each school will also host a flu shot clinic in October: Oak Grove Elementary and Oak Grove Middle School Oct. 19; Woodrow Wilson Elementary and Baldwin Oct. 20; PJHS and PHS Oct. 21; and Paragould Primary Oct. 23. Permission forms for the school-hosted clinics will be sent home closer to those dates.
