Check it out! 18 OGMS students and staff members took the plunge last Saturday - the Polar Plunge that is! While that is awesome, the best part is the school raised over $2,100 to donate to the Special Olympics. Great job, OGMS! #psdrams #specialolympics #polarplunge

We are still reading the Tale of Despereaux! Here is our reading schedule for this week. (If you're ahead, that's okay! Take this time to talk about what's happened so far....How do you feel about Despereaux's family? Do you think Roscuro is going to be true to his rat self, or will he try to be kind? What do you think of the king?) Virtual students: if you still haven't picked up your book, we have one for you in the front office! Come and get it - you can catch up quickly! :) #onlytheBESTatOGMS

English Based on the number of students currently in quarantine, face coverings will be required beginning on Friday, January 14 as outlined in the district Communicable Disease Exposure Control Plan. The updated plan has been placed on the district website under Ready to Learn 2021-2022. We must remain vigilant. The district will continue to focus on mitigating strategies that have helped us reduce the spread of COVID-19. A variety of measures will remain in place to ensure the safest learning environment possible. The Paragould School District is fully committed to the health and safety of all students, staff and visitors. We are proud of the actions that were taken to ensure a safe start to the school year and encourage everyone to continue to do their part to limit the spread of COVID-19. We began a new tradition this year. Senior athletes are choosing the teacher who made the most impact on their life and presenting them with an invitation to join them at Senior Night and a t-shirt with their name on the back. Today we are thankful for new traditions and for our faculty who truly does MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
