Chromebook Reminder
Reminder: Monday, February 15, is scheduled as a virtual day regardless of weather.
*Pre-K, S21C, and virtual students will attend school as normal.
*No K-12 grade students will attend on campus that day.
*K-12 grade students who normally attend on campus should have their Chromebooks and chargers at home and will attend school virtually on virtual days through Zoom and Google Classroom.
*Teachers will assist students with making sure virtual day materials are available offline for students with no Internet connection outside school.

New York based author and illustrator, Melanie Hope Greenberg, met with Ms. Rachel's 2nd grade class this morning on Zoom. What an exciting author visit! She read from her book, Mermaids on Parade, and took questions about writing and illustrating books over her career! Copies of her books were given to Ms. Rachel's class for their classroom library, copies were purchased to give away to students, and copies will be available for checkout in our library starting next week. 4th grader Jon Coonrod was persistent about an animal that needed help yesterday. He made a choice to alert Baldwin adults of a dog that was stuck in the storm drain by the recess fence. Teachers went out to see about it and were able to get the dog out safely. The dog clearly had been there for a while so it was so happy to get out and see people! Remember, if you see someone or something in need, say something and always know persistence is key! The dog's owner had been looking for her and she is now home and happy!
