Peppermint the Elf arrived at Baldwin after our Thanksgiving break and will be staying with us through Christmas vacation! He's keeping an eye on our students and reporting back to Santa! So far, he's been swinging from the ceiling, climbing the wall, and eating cereal!

It’s National Pickle Day! ALP students at Baldwin learned about the history of pickles, pickling, the manufacturing of pickles, and lots of interesting facts about pickles. They read the story, “Sloth and Squirrel in a Pickle” and talked about the economic concepts of choice and opportunity cost. They ended the lesson by eating a variety of pickles and dill pickle chips! The students loved the lesson and the pickle snacks.
