🥛 And of course—milk!
And our staff even got a special treat… chocolate pie! 😍

Day 2 at the Be Pro Be Proud Mobile Simulator! 🚛🔧
Our PJHS students had another incredible day exploring hands-on career pathways inside the Be Pro Be Proud Mobile Simulator. From operating heavy equipment to trying out high-tech welding and lineman simulators, students were fully engaged and excited to discover new opportunities for their futures.
We love seeing them have fun while learning about high-wage high-demand professions. Thank you to the Be Pro Be Proud team for providing such an inspiring experience for our kids!






Paragould Junior High students in Mrs. McDaniel's and Mr. Weber's classes are having an exciting hands-on learning opportunity this week as they explore the Be Pro Be Proud AR Mobile Simulator!
Students get to try out high-demand skilled trades through immersive, interactive simulations inside the Mobile Workshop. All of the careers represented can be started with a two-year degree or less, making them accessible, affordable, and full of opportunity.
Trades featured on the simulator include:

🚜 Heavy Equipment Operation
🧰 Plumbing
⚙️ CNC Machining
🚚 Commercial Truck Driving
🪚 Carpentry
🔩 Industrial Maintenance
💡 Electrical Work
This experience helps students discover potential career paths, find training, and see just how many high-skill, high-pay careers are within reach here in Arkansas.We’re excited to welcome the Be Pro Be Proud team and love to see our students learn, explore, and be inspired!

The PJHS Quiz Bowl Team placed 1st in the Cyclone Invitational Tournament at McArthur Jr. High in Jonesboro today. They competed against eleven other teams and were undefeated. Congratulations!

The winners of our 1st period food drive are Mr. Mitchell Weber's 1st period with 68 items from PHS and Mr. Hestand 1st period with 352 items from PJHS! We had a total of 829 items donated to the Backpack program!!
Beta Club collected over 250 books to donate with their book drive as part of their State Service Project! Paragould is WIRED for Success!!!

Reminder: Tomorrow is the last day to bring items to your homeroom class for the Backpack Program. Here are some items to consider: Pop-top canned ravioli, microwave mac and cheese cups, fruit or pudding cups, pop tarts, cereal bars/cups, and Ramen noodles. No peanut butter products, please.

Coach Whittle's physical science classes learned about matter changes by taking milk and turning it into ice cream.





Mrs. Langston’s students are rocking their science skills this week! 💪 They modeled the Rock Cycle — showing how igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks transform through heat, pressure, and time. 🔥💧⏳



The PJHS Quiz Bowl Team participated in state quiz bowl camp Saturday. Ninth graders Ada Chen and Me’Shelle Hinson won awards for playing on top-placing teams, and 8th grader Arlington Jones was names to the All-Tournament Team. Congratulations!




Congratulations to all of our top winners from today's GT Business Entrepreneur Competition. Thank you to all of our judges and our parent volunteers! We could not have had this event without all of your help! Thank you to all 90 GT students grades 7-11 who participated. You all did a fabulous job!

7th graders got to know Max and Kevin on a whole new level! Through their Character Surgery of Freak the Mighty, students discovered how friendship, bravery, and acceptance made this story unforgettable. Students took on studying different characters with the medical theme the book carries. They were able to perform "surgery" and create beautiful work!










GT Entrepreneur Day!! It is open to family, friends, and the community! Everyone will need to park at the First Choice parking lot and walk over to the right side of the band complex due to construction. Come out and support our students!

You've heard of Powder Puff Football - now it's time for IRONMAN VOLLEYBALL! Join us Monday night for a fun filled night as our 11th-12th grade boys coached by our 11th-12th grade girls take on the 9th-10th graders. Concessions available for purchase and it's only $5 to get in! See you there!

We love a good competition during Bell Week here in the PSD. Know what else we love? Chick-fil-A! Know what else we really love? When the two come together to benefit our students. Here's how you can help - Wednesday (11/5) and Thursday (11/6) place a MOBILE order between 5pm - 8pm for dine in, carry out, or drive thru and select to support Paragould when prompted. Chick-fil-A will be donating the proceeds to the school with the most orders. Winner will be announced Friday night at the Bell Game - Go Rams, Wreck Tech!
