Back to School TOMORROW! Here are some things to know for your child's first day of school at Paragould Primary:
1. PreK, K, & 1st Grade students may be walked to their classroom by their grown-up from 7:30-8:15.
2. There will be a "Boo Hoo Breakfast" available for parents after classroom drop-off. It will be located near the front of the building by the office and library area.
3. Traffic will be very BUSY! We have approximately 650 littles. A majority of these littles will be walked in on the first day by a grown-up and are usually a car-rider on the first day. That is A LOT of traffic and cars parking. Please be patient with us. Our number 1 priority at the end of the first day is ensuring that your child gets home safely!! That means carline will be a bit longer and drop-off times for buses may be later than you were originally told.
Ram fans - join us Friday, August 23rd for our 2nd Annual Community Pep Rally. The gates open at 5:30pm and entry is free. We will have games; a dunk tank; food; showcase booths; snow cones; introductions of fall and spring sports, Beta Club, and PJHS Quiz Bowl; a performance by the Paragould Pride marching band; and we will end the night with FIREWORKS! Bring your friends and family to this night of fun. Open to the public - we invite all Ram fans to join us!
Last, but not least we have our new Assistant Principal at PPS! She's new to Primary, but definitely not new to Paragould Schools! You know her, you love her it's Mrs. Courtney Young!!
These teachers are not new to Primary, but they may be new to you! They were added to our staff last year during times they were needed.
