🌧️ Important Announcement for PPS Parents! Due to the weather forecast, school is dismissing students 2 hours early today to ensure their safety. Dismissal beginning times: PreK: 12:30 K-1: 1:00 Please plan accordingly and stay safe!☔

We have bus routes that are in excess of an hour and a half in length and student safety is the priority. All after school tutoring is canceled for Wednesday, April 2. Paragould School District administration will be watching the weather very closely on Wednesday, April 2. If severe storms impact our area prior to dismissal, or if the storms have the potential to impact our area during afternoon bus routes, we may need to modify dismissal plans. Notification of any changes to the normal dismissal plans will be communicated via text and push notification on the PSD app. Notifications will also be posted on Facebook, KAIT8, and through local radio stations.

Due to a power outage in the area, the PSD core network switch was affected, causing disruptions in network connectivity between buildings. The district's technology department has secured the necessary replacement parts and is actively collaborating with our network switch vendor to restore service.
