Today is National Spina Bifida Day, so today we celebrate our very own Mr. Tripp Eldridge by wearing yellow. Spina bifida is a birth defect which causes the spinal cord not to develop properly. Tripp NEVER lets this bring him down. He is full of life and lets his light shine all over our school. Mrs. Madyson gave Tripp an interview and here’s what he wants you to know: His favorite color is light green. He loves Mickey Mouse. His favorite food is chicken nuggets and fries. When he grows up he wants to be Lightning McQueen. His favorite song is “Life is a Highway”. His best friend is Mrs. Jorja. Mrs. Madyson wants you to know that Tripp is unstoppable and determined. He’s a prime example of one of her favorite quotes, “The world needs who you were made to be” and Tripp is all of that and some! Tripp is an inspiration to not only kids but everyone!! Mrs. Abby wanted to let Tripp know he’s not alone and being different is totally cool!! She even shared how she is different! #littlerams #SpinaBifidaAwareness #InclusionMatters
