Votes have been counted! OGE students cannot wait to watch Ms. Nikki eat a WORM next Friday!! Ms. Nikki received a total of 443 votes beating Mr. Roy by only 14 votes.
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, May 3rd! We hope that all of our families are able to attend our Family Fun Night to wrap-up our reading of How to Eat Fried Worms.
Don't forget - this Friday, April 22nd is the last day to sign up for the PSD Pageant that will be held on April 30th in the PHS Auditorium. Forms are available in each of our school offices. PSD district administrators are closely monitoring the weather today. All car lines will start at 1:00 this afternoon (Wednesday, April 13). Buses are scheduled to run on a normal schedule. In the event severe storms arrive at or close to dismissal time, students will be held until the storms pass and it is safe to travel. All after school activities have been canceled. After care programs will be on normal schedule.

⚠️Due to the potential threat of severe weather during the early evening hours on Wednesday, 2nd-6th grade volleyball camp will move their dismissal time up by 1 hour. The awards ceremony will now begin at 5:00 tomorrow night.⚠️

Warning, another BRAG POST ahead! Meet 4th grade student Gauge Robison in Mrs. Herring's homeroom. Gauge loves gaming, his big family and doing double backflips on his trampoline at home. He thinks school is cool when he get's to go to PE. Gauge enjoys eating BBQ chicken, burgers and hot dogs (YUM!). He also said his cat just had kittens so he currently has 6-7 pet's and one of them is a raccoon. How cool is that?! Gauge we are so proud to have you at OGE and enjoy learning not only about you but from you!
BRAG POST! Meet KIND KID Maydes Rodriguez, she is a third grade student in Mrs. Wendy's homeroom at OGE. Maydes loves to help her mom cook, clean and she even loves to do her own chores. WOW! Maydes cares deeply for others, she loves her family, friends and school. She plays soccer and is going to start playing baseball soon. Maydes your care and kindness for other people do not go unnoticed. Thank you for being a part of OGE and making it the place to be!
BRAG POST! Carson Clements is a 2nd grade student at OGE in Mrs. Tonya's classroom. Carson is one awesome kid and exuberate's self-confidence, in fact he even says "I feel good about myself". It is great when kids are happy and confident in who and where they are. Carson loves school because he get's to do math and fun. He enjoys talking, telling jokes and playing games with his friends like basketball, soccer and kick ball. Carson also enjoys most food except for onions, he loves spaghetti, hamburgers, french fries and even radish. Carson we are so proud that you are a student at OGE and love watching you flourish!
Meet Chloe Clements, 2nd grade student, in Mrs. Rogers' homeroom at OGE. Chloe was chosen to be February Citizen of the Month. Chloe loves the color pink, eating broccoli, coloring, reading and learning. Chloe wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up! She also said that if she could go anywhere on vacation it would be to Tennessee so she could go on a hike. We are so very proud of you Chloe, keep up the good work!
Meet Vivienne Nowlin, 3rd grade student in Mrs. Wendy's homeroom at OGE. She was selected to be February Citizen of the Month. Vivienne's favorite color is orange , her favorite food is steak and she loves drawing. Her favorite part of school is the teachers and when she grows up she wants to be a Veterinarian. Vivienne said her dream vacation would be going to the beach because she likes to swim. We are so proud of you Vivienne.
Meet Kenidi Damron, 2nd grade student in Mrs. Tonya's homeroom at OGE. She was selected as February Citizen of the Month! Kenidi's favorite color is light blue and her favorite food is her Nana's Chicken- N- Dumplings (YUMMY!). She enjoys playing on her phone and doing math. Kenidi thinks that she will probably work at a factory like her mom when she grows up and would her vacation spot would be Florida because she loves the beach! Keep up the hard work Kenidi!
Congratulations to 2nd grade student Jackson Fender in Mrs. Krissy's homeroom! He was chosen to be February Citizen of the Month. Jackson loves the color blue, eating Mexican food, playing outside and math. When Jackson grows up he wants to be a YouTuber. His dream vacation would be to Florida so he could see the good view! Keep up your hard work Jackson, OGE is proud of you!
Meet Aubrey Henson, 2nd grade student at OGE in Mrs. Eastep's homeroom. She was selected as February Citizen of the Month. Aubrey loves the color teal, eating starburst, math and coloring. When she grows up she wants to be a teacher. Aubrey said if she could take a vacation anywhere in the world it would be the beach! Keep being a kind kid Aubrey!

Braxton loves the color blue, eating sushi, math and playing baseball. Braxton wants to be a doctor when he grows up and if he could go on vacation anywhere in the world it would be Hawaii!

Maya's favorite things are the color purple, eating Taco Bell, playing with her friends and having fun with her teachers. Maya thinks that she will start her future job by working at Starbucks! If she could go anywhere in the world for vacation it would be a beach in Florida. Congratulations Maya!
