Homecoming week kicks off this Sunday night with a "Movie Under the Stars" event on the Paragould High School campus - all Rams welcome! So bring your blankets and lawn chairs and join us as we watch "Alice in Wonderland". Gates open at 6:15pm and the movie starts at 7:00pm. No cost to enter. Concessions will be available.
Arkansas students in grades 3-10 took a new state test in the spring of 2024 through the Arkansas Teaching & Learning Assessment System (ATLAS). It replaces the old state test and is aligned to Arkansas grade level standards. You can access information about your child’s performance through the ATLAS Family Portal. This resource includes the results of your child’s performance on all ATLAS tests. Information regarding how to access your child’s scores will be sent home with students tomorrow. Emergency personnel have utilized the property at Oak Grove Elementary School to land a helicopter for the airlift of an adult in need of urgent medical attention. This was not a staff member, but a nearby resident. The individual is being safely transported to a nearby hospital. Please be assured that all necessary precautions have been taken to ensure the safety of students and staff, and there is no cause for alarm.

Today, we proudly wore our "Dig for the Cure" or our best pink shirts to show our support for those who have battled, are currently battling, and will battle breast cancer.
Yesterday, the Paragould Fire Department paid a visit to OGE and provided an engaging fire safety lesson for our 3rd and 4th graders. They even took the students through the smokehouse for a hands-on learning experience!
Yesterday morning, our 2nd graders had a blast listening to spooky Halloween stories with our Partners in Ed Greenbrier!

Mrs. Heather’s class did an experiment in turning liquids to solids and back to liquids. Bonus was given if time was kept… they all kept time!!! Two of my students repeated the experiment at home!!!
