Congratulations Ella Bateman for being chosen as March Citizen of the Month! Ella is a 2nd grade student from Mrs. Tonya's homeroom. Ella loves the color magenta, eating chicken noodle soup, playing her brothers Nintendo Switch and art. When Ella grows up she wants to be someone who makes snow-cones. YUM! Also her dream vacation is to go to Ireland. Way to go Ella!

Way to go Makenzee Davis for being selected as March Citizen of the Month! She is a 3rd grade student from Mrs. Julie's homeroom. Makenzee's favorite things include the colors red and blue, eating ice-cream and spending time with her family. Meet Kayden Ray, 4th grade student in Mrs. Grace's homeroom at OGE. She was selected to be March Citizen of the Month! Kayden loves the color blue, pumpkin pie, playing with her puppy and all of the people at school! When Kayden grows up she wants to be a Travel Nurse and go on vacation to the Bahamas with her whole entire family! Way to go girl, OGE is proud of you!

When asked if she could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would it be? Her response was "The Beach". Olivia keep up the hard work and dedication!

Kinley Breckenridge was selected to be March Citizen of the Month. She is a 4th grade student in Mrs. Nikki's homeroom at OGE. Kinley loves the color pink, eating chicken nuggets, practicing softball and all the fun activities at school. Kinley is aspiring to be a Surgical Nurse when she grows up and if she could go on vacation anywhere in the world it would be Disney World. Congratulations Kinley!

Brag Post Ahead! Meet 2nd grade student Lane Childers from Mrs. Tonya's class. Lane is a great kid with a big heart, imagination and love for the outdoors. Lane enjoys spending time with his family and riding his skateboard and bicycle. In fact, he loves it so much that he can do some really cool tricks on it. Lane told me about going to a competition for skateboarding and biking. WOW, that is impressive! Lane is a great student, he loves math, reading, taking tests and recess of course. When he is at home he spends a lot of time outdoors skateboarding, biking, mini-biking and riding his four wheeler. To keep himself fueled up he said one of his favorite snacks is Dr. Pepper with a drink flavor packet mix and placing it in the freezer to get really cold. Lane keep being loving, fun and adventurous and making OGE the place to be!

Amazing Kid Alert! Meet Jase Poindexter, 2nd grade student in Mrs. Tonya's classroom at OGE. Jase is a wonderful example to others because he always uses his manners with please, thank you, ma'am and sir! Jase enjoys spending time with grandparents and cousins, and teaching his baby cousin to share. He loves playing freeze tag, the Floor is Lava, drawing and watching Encanto. Jase always makes sure to always eat his supper, exercise and practice his educational skills like reading, writing and doing math! Jase you are a one of kind, thank you for being a part of making OGE the place to be!

Mrs. Julie’s third graders learned about the history of Cinco de Mayo today then ate chips and salsa, made maracas, and sombreros!




Registration for the NO COST Academic/Athletic Camps for current students in grades K-6 is open NOW through Friday, May 20th. Your child is invited to attend Paragould K-6 Summer Academic/Athletic Camps. Our summer program is offered at NO COST to PSD students! Transportation will be provided for students if needed. Opportunities include both academic and athletic activities. Students will be given the opportunity to interact with district literacy and math computer adaptive technology programs. We will also offer one-on-one and small group instruction when necessary. Athletic programs offered to students include baseball, basketball, football, soccer, softball, volleyball, cheer, dance, and speed/agility. K-6 Athletic Program Coordinators and district coaches will facilitate athletic activities. Don’t delay, registration ENDS on Friday, May 20th.
