
Allison Curtis is December Citizen of the Month for Mrs. Teddi's 3rd grade classroom at OGE. Her favorite part of the holiday season is seeing her grandparents. Congratulations Allie!

During Red Ribbon Week, the Greene County Coalition pushed out a poster art contest. Jagger Dutton, 3rd grade student from OGE was selected as one of the final winners with a very real and moving contribution. We were told that the poster brought some of the judges to tears. Today he was presented with his Certificate and a gift card. We are beyond proud of Jagger, congratulations again!



This cool kid earned herself a brag post. Meet OGE 2nd Grade student Autum Kinney. She comes to school and puts forth her best effort. Autum loves reading so much that she met her AR Goal and even has earned a brag button. Did I mention she even helps other students with their work when they need it? Keep being awesome Autum!


This guy earned himself a brag post. Meet OGE 2nd grader Ryder Cross. Ryder has worked hard not only to meet his AR Goal but to go above it, he even made the Honor Roll during the first quarter, and attended after school tutoring. He also says he has been working hard in math and loves coming to school all day. Ryder OGE is so proud of all you have accomplished and we know you are not done yet!

Today is the final day for semester one tutoring at Oak Grove Elementary. Students will have a note at pickup today.


Brantley Anderson is November Citizen of the Month for Mrs. Chelsea's Homeroom at OGE. Brantley's favorite things include the color yellow, eating pizza, playing baseball and going to PE. He would definitely serve corn if he were hosting a holiday meal.


Auggie Jones is November Citizen of the Month for Mrs. Wendy's classroom. HIs favorite things include the color red, eating pizza, learning about science and playing football. If he ever cooked a holiday meal he would definitely bake a ham.

Alessandro Lozoya is November Citizen of the Month for Mrs. Nikk's classroom. He loves the color orange, eating donuts, playing outside, coloring and "math when it's quiet". Alessandro would serve Christmas Cookies and Thanksgiving pie if he hosted holiday meals.


Nikoli McClendon is November Citizen of the Month for Mr. Wayne's room. Nikoli loves the color green, eating pizza and cake, playing with Pokemon cards and recess. If he were hosting a holiday meal he would be sure to bake ham and make deviled eggs.


Jacob Irvin is November Citizen of the Month for Mr. Roys classroom. Jacob loves the color green, eating raw cherries, coloring and seeing all of his different teachers. If Jacob were hosting a holiday meal, he said he would serve "spicy ham and a whole bunch of Japanese food, spicy food and crab legs with butter". Keep up the good work!


Maydes Rodriguez is November Citizen of the Month for Mrs. Herring's classroom. Maydes loves the colors black and red, eating spaghetti, spending time with her friends and reading. If she could have any super power, it would be the "power of loveness" for others. Maydes you have a heart of gold, keep up the great work from the inside out.


Kenidi Damron is November Citizen of the Month for Mrs. Sadie's Classroom. She loves the color light blue, eating her Nana's chicken and dumplings, playing on the swings and math. One day when Kenidi hosts' her own holiday meal, she plans to make chicken and dumplings.


Congratulations to Lacey Mason, November Citizen of the Month, for Mrs. Heather's Classroom! Lacey's favorite things include the color purple, eating grapes, playing with LOL's and math. She would serve donuts at her holiday meal, YUM!


Cerinatee Blackmon is November Citizen of the Month for Mrs. Teddi's classroom. Cerinatee loves the color pink, eating pizza, dancing and math. If she was hosting a holiday meal, Cerinatee would definitely want to bake brownies.


Sadie Ruffin is November Citizen of the Month for Mrs. Eastep's 2nd Grade Class! She loves the color yellow, eating donuts, playing on the monkey bars at recess and playing her Ipad at home. Sadie said that if she was hosting a holiday meal she would be sure to bake Christmas Cookies. Congratulations Sadie!
