Oak Grove Elementary

Literacy Night Oak Grove Elementary School April 18th from 5:00- 7:00 p.m. We will have many fun activities, including making homemade dog tags, fossil paw prints, and your own trail mix! Come join the fun and have a "wild evening"! Bring the family to learn about the wild and do activities that will inspire your love of reading! The theme of this year is wild animals in honor of OGE Reads A Boy Called Bat.

**BRAG POST ALERT** Sadie Ruffin is a 2nd grade student with a huge heart and big smile to match. Her puppy named Scooter is very important to her. Sadie loves hanging out in her "closet hideout" with Scooter, playing fetch and giving Scooter treats. Some of Sadie's other favorite things include the color yellow, watching the Avatar movie, eating Taki's, salad and riding her bike. Sadie enjoys the outdoors, especially being outside at recess and pushing her friends on the swings. Sadie, you are awesome at being you!

Erin Rowland is March Citizen of the Month for Mrs. Krissy's 2nd grade class at OGE. Erin loves the color's pink, purple and blue. She also enjoys eating plain noodles, history and playing her xbox. So far her favorite part of "A Boy Called Bat" is when they feed the skunk kit". Congratulations Erin!

Drake Thompson is March Citizen of the Month for Mr. Wayne's class at OGE. His favorite things include the colors black and blue, eating Chinese food, playing at recess and math. In the book "A Boy Called Bat" his favorite part is the "first part of the book". Congratulations Drake!

Sadye White is March Citizen of the Month for Mrs. Wendy's 3rd grade class at OGE. Her favorite things include the color white, math and eating banana pudding. So far her favorite part of "A Boy Called Bat" is "when he figures out his mom brought home a baby kit". Congratulations Sadye!

Aubry Morris is March Citizen of the Month for Ms. Teddi's 3rd grade class at OGE. She loves the color pink, eating cheese pizza and art. Aubry's favorite part of "A Boy Called Bat" so far is "when he meets the skunk kit". Congratulations Aubry!

Paisley Graper is March Citizen of the Month for Ms. Sadie's 3rd grade class at OGE. Her favorite things are the colors pink, gold, purple silver and mostly blue. Paisley also enjoys eating vanilla pudding that her grandmother makes with wafers in it and math. So far, her favorite part of the book "A Boy Called Bat" is "where he meets the skunk kit".
