The school board has approved some changes to the consequences for students who are vaping/using tobacco on school campus and/or school property. The new changes for vaping/tobacco use on school campus/property are as follows:
Consequence:
1st violation - 3 days of ISS, 1 day of Saturday detention and must complete an online cessation program
2nd violation - 5 days of Saturday detention and notification of police/charges filed
3rd violation - 10 days of OSS and recommendation for expulsion
Building administration will determine the dates in which Saturday detentions will be served. One day of OSS will be assigned for each Saturday detention not served.
