Important Information for Seniors

By now, all college-bound seniors should have completed the following:

  • FAFSA Application for federal financial aid (Pell grant)
  • Youniversal Application for state financial aid
  • College applications including sending high school transcripts, shot records, and test scores (and any other required documents to complete the college application)
  • Scholarship applications (There are several Greene County Scholarship applications in the counselor's office now)

Seniors will need the following to complete the FAFSA application for federal financial aid (Pell grant):

  •  Your Social Security number (it’s important that you enter it correctly on the FAFSA!)
  • Your parents’ or guardians’ Social Security numbers and Date of Birth
  • Your parent or guardian’s email address and phone number
  • Your FSA ID (we created these together earlier this year in the cafeteria)
  • Your parent or guardian’s FSA ID (Have them create one, and bring the email address used, and the username and password created for the ID.)
  • 2018 Federal tax returns for you (if you filed) and your parents (W2’s will not be sufficient)
  • Records of your untaxed income, such as child support received, interest income, and veterans noneducation benefits, for you, and for your parents if applicable.

Any senior who has not completed this list and wants to attend college in the Fall, please come to the counselor’s office asap!
