OGMS EAST students, Eden Treece and Zoe Stallings, met with the Fraternal Order of Police to propose a potential EAST project. Eden and Zoe want to help fund (2) $500 scholarships for graduating PHS EAST seniors. They want to give back to the students that made such a positive impact on the program that they love. Community partners, White Inc. and Downtown Nutrition have already funded a portion of the scholarship. OGMS SRO Stephen Pace presented Eden and Zoe with a check this morning for the remaining amount needed to make this project a reality! Next Eden and Zoe will collaborate with the High School and Jr High EAST programs to finalize an application process before selecting the recipients to be awarded at the Senior awards assembly on May 5th at PHS!
