Parents/Guardians of PHS Juniors,
All juniors are scheduled to take the ACT on Feb. 23, 2021. Those with accommodations will start on the 23rd or 24th and continue as their accommodation allows over the following days.
In order to receive information from colleges and scholarships, as well as to send their scores to colleges, each student has to have an opt IN form on file filled out by the parent. This is the google form I sent before winter break and have included in an email sent today, Jan. 5.
If you don't want your student to take the ACT, which has to be taken in person on campus that day, you will need to return the opt OUT form, attached at the bottom of the email that went out today, Jan. 5.
This is somewhat confusing, I understand. Because many of you might have questions, I plan to offer an informational zoom session so that you can ask any questions you may have on Jan. 14 at 5:30 P.M. To access this zoom session, you will use the link sent in today's email.
All forms need to be filled out by Jan. 22 so that appropriate plans can be made for testing rooms and staff. Thank you in advance for timely responses, and I hope to be able to help answer any questions on Jan. 14.
