The PRIDE wins again at competition! The PHS Band competed in the 2019 Bethel University Marching Invitational in Bethel, TN, Saturday, September 21. In Class D, they scored 1st place Drum Major, 2nd place Percussion, 2nd place Color Guard, and 1st place Band. In Gold Division, 1st place Drum Major, 2nd place Percussion, 2nd place Color Guard, and 1st place Band. Overall, the PRIDE scored 1st place Drum Major, Best Soloist, and they are Gold Division Champions! GRAND CHAMPIONS!
At the Hornet Invitational in Medina, TN, the same day, the PRIDE scored in Class awards, 2nd place Color Guard, 2nd Percussion, 1st Field Commander, and 5A Class Champions. Division 2 awards are 2nd place Color Guard and 2nd Field Commander. Overall, they received Best Visual and Best Music, and they are GRAND CHAMPIONS there as well!
