The Smoking Skulls Riding Club donated $575.00 in shoe gift cards to PSD. With the help of OGE secretary and Shoe Sensation employee Tiffany Beasley, school counselors Stephanie Elmore and Kristy Ford shopped for shoes and were able to purchase 37 pair of shoes for K-6 students. Apple sent out a message stating that the iOS 13 update has been affecting many apps from functioning including the Paragould School District App. They are working on pushing out an update. We will send out notification as soon as we receive more information.

The Little Rock FBI office issued a statement regarding a possible school shooting in Arkansas, August 29 (in Kentucky on August 28). The FBI could not confirm the source of the reporting party. PSD administration is not aware of any specific threat to our district. Keeping students and staff safe is our top priority and we will remain in contact with the authorities.
