PHS Drama Performance This Week

The PHS Theatre Department will present Billy St. John's comedy "Is There a Comic in the House?" this week.  The setting is the 1990s at a boarding house for aspiring comics in New York City.  The cast of characters, in order of appearance, is:  Destiny Baldwin as Deliah Owens, Dean Prince as Phil Arnold, David Holland as Ed Edwards, Dustin Cline as Zack Zaney, Lina Brasher as Pepper Russell, Alex Brewer as Gloria Montez, Hannah Leisure as Shotzie Starr, Molly Linam as Terri Collins, Jadyn Edgar as Melora Higgenbotham, Jesse Sanders as Howard Prince, Rhett Frahler as Huey, William McPhink as Dewey, Kaitlyn Toombs as Louise, Reilly Davis as Melissa Bliss, Cole Brengard as Captain Al Delgato, and Jacob Griffin as Chaz Poindexter.  The crew consists of Mr. Barry Burkheart, director; Cole Brengard, technical director; Sarah Sellen, stage manager; Cole Brengard, lights; Jacob Griffin, sound; Shelby Abbott, Aaron Fisher, and McKenna Timmons, hair and makeupo; Sofia Garcia, Baylee Gonser, and Justin Sebasty, stage crew; and PHS Stagecraft Class, set design and construction.

The play will be shown for the public at the PHS Auditorium Friday and Saturday, January 17 and 18, 2020, at 7:00 p.m.  PJHS will see it Thursday, January 16 at 12:30 p.m., juniors and seniors Friday, January 17, at 9:45 a.m., and freshmen and sophomores, at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
